Hello, thank you for stumbling upon my blog.

My name is Anna Zhu and I’m a Sydney-based freelance photographer specialising in documentary portraiture. I love meeting new people and telling their stories with my images.

Currently I split my time shooting corporate and marketing photography for businesses, education institutions and not-for-profits, and shooting more personal events like weddings and birthday parties. Occasionally I find myself behind the lens at a music gig or on a film set. I love the variety of my work.

I count myself very fortunate to be in a profession I’m passionate about (even though the business paperwork isn’t so exciting), and to be surrounded by wonderful friends and clients who support my craft.

This little online diary is where I’ll attempt to shelve everything that doesn’t fit neatly onto my websites. Hopefully my photos will add a little something to your day when you see them.
