Maternity: Le & Justin

To two of my favourite people in the world, I couldn’t be happier documenting this life-changing experience you’re having. I’m eagerly awaiting my new little niece, and hope to spoil her with many more photoshoots in the future – until she gets sick of me that is.

With much love,
Anna

Married: Christina & Derrick

Oh my god Anna!
So
So
So
So
Incredibly
Absolutely
Indescribably
WONDERFUL!!!

Derrick and I adore the photos, it was the best thing ever to wake up to this morning! We couldn’t be happier with the moments you captured (dad having a stiff drink takes the cake though)

Married: Christina & Derrick

So excited to share this wedding! I’m lucky to know Christina and Derrick from uni, individually before they started dating. It’s been wonderful to watch their relationship grow, and of course their ceremony was one of the most emotional I’ve ever attended.

This wedding also signifies a first in two of our new products – an online ordering system and soon-to-be-released wedding cinematography package.

Keep checking back for Christina and Derrick’s wedding movie!

Lovebirds: Chanele & Casey

I’m photographing Chanele and Casey’s wedding soon, and there’s no better way to kick off a great photographer/subject relationship than to practice with a Lovebirds shoot. So here’s the equation:

Chanele works at the Australian Museum = after hours access = an opportunity too good to pass up!

I loved this shoot, though I do wish the fishtank was a little cleaner :P enjoy.

UTS Speaks: Shapeshifters – The New Creatives

Recently I’ve been impressed and inspired by the free public lectures UTS Speaks has organised in it’s newly renovated Great Hall. I attended this session last week titled Shapeshifters: The New Creatives, moderated by Hael Kobayashi with experts Professor Kees Dorst, Dr Jochen Schweitzer and Dr Joanne Jakovich – all heavyweights in their sector.

I was particularly attracted to Prof. Dorst’s intro to ‘Design Thinking’, not a new concept but not one I’m familiar with – the new way of problem solving that welcomes complexity, dynamic variables, and networked stakeholders and decisions. Here’s a footage of the entire talk:

These photos are from the newest addition to our team, events photographer Tawfik Elgazzar.

New Matrix Education Website Live

Happy hump day everyone, super excited to see the new Matrix site launch – I’ve have been waiting for it since late last year. It’s a big leap forward from their old site, and I’m happy that my photographs have contributed in their small way :)

Some screen grabs are below, and my illuminated billboards for Matrix are still up at Townhall if anyone happens to walk past. Matrix specialises in HSC tuition, and more of my work for them are here.

Family: Simone, Adrian, Brody & Lili

Happy friday everyone! Hope this brings a little sunshine to kick off your weekend.

I’ve known this awesome foursome for a while now and have watched Brody and Lili transform into two of the cutest little beings. I jumped at the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous family. Brody is a serious little man, matching dad with his blue polo shirt, while younger sister Lili looks on with her pixie eyes and cheeky smile. It was the perfect combination of beautiful sunset light and happy subjects.

Enjoy, Kate
